Dashboard accessible, but stuck loading

Sometimes, the dashboard will be accessible but no data is being loaded (as per the example below).

This usually means that the backend service is failing to start. The primary reason being that the cameras have become disconnected from the core unit. The main way to fix this is to restart the device by powering it off and back on again.
